I'm not abandoning the previous conversation, but I thought you might want to get this soon. A fellow
MayApple artist,
Eric Leick, recently wrote about our failures in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. He muscled a bunch of folks into the studio (most of whom are showcased on our upcoming disc), and made this
song. Give it a listen. Pass it on. It only takes a spark.

Good stuff, thanks! And as for your album, well... I must do what I can to urge its completion.
And yeah, that's a binder clip on his ear and a thumbtack in his paw.
I don't mess around here, Reacher, because I feel it's beneath us both. I and my associates take this matter very, very seriously. We urge you to comply, both quickly and completely.
You don't want to see the bunny.
Erik writes great songs. I could listen to Dust on the 2nd Annual Spokane Songwriters Festival CD over and over. In fact, it brings a tear to my eye from time to time.
And he has a hyterical Leprechan (sp?) song too!
I happen to know the CD is READY because I've HEARD it with my own EARS!
Why hasn't it been released? Just ask yourself who profits from the delay. BIG OIL COMPANIES, THAT'S WHO!
Such solid grooves and relevant, complex lyrical landscapes as will be found on this project are EXACTLY what BIG OIL KNOWS will put America on the road to RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION.
I can't agree with your methods, Tool, but I understand your frustration. If this CONSPIRACY continues, I fear for the welfare of cuddly children's toys of every kind, all across the nation.
Yes, (Deep Throat) Pervious is on to something. He followed the money and found that we have been "encouraged" to remove our tunes about mandatory tanker structures ("The Double-Hulled Blues"), the future of Biodiesel ("Soybeans the Joybeans"), and our alternative transportation love ballad ("Those Lycra Shorts Sure Look Good On You").
We will soon have the replacement tracks - "Hungry for Horsepower," "Big-Ass Truck," and "I Need a Road Trip (To Get My Mind Off Of You)" -
recorded and ready to go.
Tool, be patient. Think of the children.
